It’s Curvy Couture Time again & we couldn't be more EXCITED!
Emotions are running high at Harlow HQ, getting the finishing touches on the looks that will go down the runway next Saturday night as well as finalising the Market stall for the Sunday.
Even though I am surrounded by organised chaos, I wanted to take some time out from the crazy to reflect on what CCR means to me.
On March 30th at the Meat Market Arts Centre in North Melbourne, Harlow along with 17 other designers took part, with gorgeous models of all sizes strutting the catwalk. No words can explain all the feels of this day! Being able to be a part of a this event as a brand was a dream come true. An honour and a privilege to be on the stage with so many other talented designers.

On a personal note, some of you may know that last year I was a member of the 6 strong and determined women, who spent 1000’s of hours planning, deliberating and co-ordinating what was - THE EVENT OF THE YEAR. We came together with one common goal, to bring to the women of Australia a day of fashion like they had never experienced before. If you were there, then you know that together we were a powerhouse and we succeeded.
The day itself was truly amazing, a life altering experience. Being in a room full of women, who for the first time were able to see women like them walk the runway, in clothes that came in their size – was electric, I have never felt so much love in one room.
CANNOT wait for this year...
If you missed last year, here is a glimpse into the magic of the day,

If you thought last year’s event was MAGIC, hold onto your hats, this year’s event is going to be EPIC!
This year the committee have taken it to the next level, bringing you not one, but two days of Fashion.
These women are crazy! They have taken on the mammoth task of creating 2 events this year. Having been involved last year, I know what kind of commitment this takes. I also know they didn't do this lightly, as it means double the planning, organisation and hours, but they didn't let this phase them, they wanted to bring to each and every one of you something you have never seen before, a weekend extravaganza of plus size fashion & that is what they will do.
Trust me with these women behind the event, it will be mind blowing. For the sake of your sanity do not hesitate, if you haven’t already, then get on that website & grab yourself a ticket! #DONTMISSOUT
BIG THANK YOU to Jess, Teresa, Karyn, Erin & Kate who have given their all in the lead up to this event, without women like you we wouldn't have this experience - to walk the runway, and as a fashionista to be able to see ourselves reflected on the runway - KUDOS to you from the bottom of my heart xxx
