Easy tips on how to pack for a cheeky weekend away…

Sometimes it’s nice to sneak away from our everyday, even if it’s just for one night. A weekend in the countryside, by the beach or a night in the bustling city. It’s good to disengage and take a little time to see life from a different perspective.

With that in mind, we wanted to show you a few tips on how you can pack light for a weekend away, taking only an overnight bag!

It’s super easy, with a few easy care/easy wear pieces, a couple of accessories, and 3 pairs of shoes we will have you looking stylish for almost any situation. It’s all about making your pieces work for you, mixing and matching like a boss to give you the multiple combinations.

The key in packing light is to pack pieces that work together, in this case we have made it easy by sticking to neutrals of black, grey, white and blue denim, adding accessories in similar hues to keep it classic yet simple. You could easily change it up slightly by adding in your favourite coloured tee to layer with or a few brighter accessories.

We have pulled out 7 pieces from our collection below …

Our selection is all from the current range of Harlow, mixed with some fabulous footwear from Frankie 4, however you could just as easily get the same effect by incorporating similar pieces from your existing wardrobe

    1. Taking it easy tee – Charcoal Marle
    2. Go your own way scarf – Black
    3. Diva Slouch Tee dress - Black
    4. Geo necklace - Silver
    5. One night wrap
    6. All wrapped up belt - Black
    7. Jean Genie skinny leg denim
    8. Ellie metallic sneaker - Frankie 4
    9. Liz Nubuck booties - Frankie 4
    10. Belinda sandals - Frankie 4
(NOTE: Our selection is all from the current range of Harlow, mixed with some fabulous footwear from Frankie 4, however you could just as easily get the same effect by incorporating similar pieces from your existing wardrobe)

We then mixed & matched to come up with a multitude of combinations……..

These combo's are just the start, we are sure that once you start looking at the differing ways that your wardrobe can work for you, you will come up with more.

At this stage your bounty when folded measures 30 cm x 30cm x 9cm & weighs less than 2 kilos, all that’s left is to add a few little extras, a pair of runners, ankle boots or your favourite heels. Also a pair of light weight leggings or footless tights are a great addition and your underwear, PJ’s and toiletries & your set, even if you caved and added an extra T-shirt or 2 your overnight bag would still be way below your 7 kilo plane allowance – pretty amazing hey!

These tips can also be used for making your wardrobe work harder for you when you are at home, it’s amazing how much more value we can get from each of our pieces when we use a little imagination.

    Until next time
